Joyful Journeys was founded with one vision — to create a vibrant gathering place where older adults can remain socially connected, physically active, mentally engaged, and emotionally fulfilled.

We believe retirement should be one of life's most rewarding adventures. That's why Joyful Journeys Senior Recreation Center was built from the ground up to be a place of warmth, laughter, and belonging — right here in the heart of Thorp, Wisconsin.
Our center is designed to provide opportunities for recreation, education, friendship, creativity, volunteerism, and fun in a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels valued. Whether you're a longtime resident or new to the area, you'll find a warm welcome waiting for you.
We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving quality of life through community involvement and meaningful experiences. Every program, every trip, and every cup of coffee shared here is part of that mission.
